Renowned artist Tom Meskell is bringing his light art sculpture Sleeping Giant to Queen Maeve Square for one night only for a special Culture Night Late event. The Sleeping Giants is a large-scale lantern project environmental awareness project. Through a Creative Ireland funded project, communities across Sligo county have created accompanying illuminated sculptures celebrating the night sky, using sustainable methods which will transform the Square.
