Sligo, Ireland – Sligo’s vibrant night-time economy will take centre stage at a special celebratory event, Good Evening and Good Night Sligo, on Thursday, May 7th, from 6:00 PM until late. This exciting initiative is designed to showcase the diverse and dynamic offerings of the town’s after-dark scene while supporting local businesses and encouraging increased foot traffic across the area.
Over forty local businesses will participate in the event by hosting special activities and offering exclusive discounts throughout the evening. Attendees can expect an eclectic range of experiences and deals, including:
- A charity Glow Walk in Queen Maeve Square
- Free ice-cream at Fabios
- Complimentary tattoos with your pint at The Snug
- A pasta-making demonstration at Pasta Fresca
- Complimentary Style tips from stylist Fiona Doyle in the Quayside Shopping Centre

In addition to the exciting lineup of activities, a Most Stylish in Sligo competition will take place throughout the night, with judges visiting participating venues to select nominees with €1,500 Love Sligo Gift Card worth of prizes on offer, which can be used to explore the best of Sligo’s local offerings.
